Terms of Use and Sale

Baseline terms for the website, downloadable Excel products, annual updates, and optional CFO email support.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you act for a company, you represent that you can bind it. The products are intended for lawful business and professional planning use.

Products and Product Information

Startup Finance Pro sells downloadable Excel models, curated stacks, and complete industry verticals. Descriptions, screenshots, included files, compatibility, and prices may change before purchase. Sample data and previews are illustrative and are not customer results. Each final product page should identify the workbook version, included tabs, macros, add-ins, and supported Excel environment.

License

Subject to payment, Startup Finance Pro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use purchased files for [ONE USER OR APPROVED TEAM] and the internal business purposes of [ONE BUSINESS ENTITY OR APPROVED SCOPE]. Ownership does not transfer to you.

You may not resell, sublicense, distribute, publish, upload to a public repository, share outside the licensed scope, remove proprietary notices, create a competing template library, or provide the files as a standalone product or service without written permission.

Orders, Payments, and Digital Delivery

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. You authorize the processor to charge your selected payment method for the product and applicable taxes. Annual Model Updates

If you choose annual updates, you enroll in a recurring annual subscription. The initial annual price is 20% below the applicable one-time product price displayed at enrollment. Unless canceled before renewal, it renews each year at the then-current annual price using the payment method on file. Unless canceled before renewal, it renews monthly using the payment method on file. The final offer must define the response target, permitted questions and attachments, confidentiality process, capacity, cancellation method, and exclusions. Unless agreed in writing, support does not include live meetings, bookkeeping, tax preparation, legal or investment advice, audit or assurance services, transaction execution, or custom development.

Refunds and 30-Day Guarantee

Startup Finance Pro currently proposes a 30-day guarantee. To request a refund, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] within 30 calendar days of purchase. The final policy must specify treatment of individual models, stacks, complete verticals, annual renewals, duplicate purchases, and partially used support.

No Professional Advice

Products and support are educational and operational tools. They are not accounting, tax, legal, investment, lending, valuation, audit, assurance, or other regulated professional advice. Startup Finance Pro does not act as your fiduciary, broker, lender, attorney, accountant, or investment adviser. You are responsible for reviewing assumptions, formulas, outputs, and decisions with qualified professionals as appropriate.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Use accurate inputs and review formulas, assumptions, scenarios, and outputs.
  • Maintain appropriate backups and version control.
  • Protect confidential information entered in workbooks or sent for support.
  • Comply with applicable laws, accounting requirements, lender or investor instructions, and contracts.

Intellectual Property and Third-Party Services

The website, products, documentation, graphics, logos, and related materials belong to Startup Finance Pro or its licensors and are protected by law. The service may rely on third-party payment, hosting, delivery, analytics, email, and software services, including Microsoft Excel; their availability and terms are outside Startup Finance Pro's control.

Disclaimers and Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE, PRODUCTS, DOWNLOADS, UPDATES, AND SUPPORT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." STARTUP FINANCE PRO DISCLAIMS EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RESULTS, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARTUP FINANCE PRO AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR DECISIONS MADE USING THE PRODUCTS. TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCT OR SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Counsel must tailor these provisions.

Suspension and Termination

Access, support, delivery, or future updates may be suspended for a material violation, misuse, fraud, or security or legal risk. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law and Disputes
